The Lifetime Learning Center -- A Place Where You Can Sharpen Your Mind and Meet New Friends With Shared Interests!
We offer an abbreviated Summer schedule of daytime, non-credit college-level courses in a variety of topics including Shakespeare, ethics, literature gentle exercise and more. About 12 classes are offered in this Summer session. A full schedult of 30 or more classes a offered each quarter (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Summer classes are offered one day a week for four weeks.
The best way to get to know us is to visit a class. You are welcome to sit in on any class you are interested in - just drop by the office and introduce yourself before class!
Many of our instructors are retired academics. Others are current professionals and artists. All are volunteers who offer their time and expertise. Their reward is the satisfaction of teaching enthusiastic students.
You'll find we are one of the best bargains in continuing education in the Puget Sound region. Our goal is that no student be excluded by the cost of attending our classes. Check our Web Site at

MIT's Open Course Ware offers a wide variety of free classes. Some are syslabuse, some are class notes, some are videos of class sessions. Many of the courses do not have video lectures, but do have notes in PDF format along with tests and homework.
UC Berkeley class videos Wide variety of classroom videos -- very current. Probably the top public university in this country. Podcasts and webcasts of amazing professors lecturing. RSS feed updates.
Carnegie Mellon's Open Learning Carnegie Mellon is a private research university ranked equal with Berkeley. Though registration is not required they have a registered user mode that allows you to keep track of your scores and progress. Currently 11 courses are offered.
Utah State Open Course Ware SAme structure as MIT OCW with large available course listing.
Tufts University OCW Tufts University in Massachusetts has a very similar structure to MIT OCW with large available course listing.
Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health offers health based lecture notes and assigments. You'll find the JHSPH OCW website uses the same navigation structure as MIT OCW. The notes are formatted much more cleanly
Wikiversity.org From the creators of wikipedia, Wikiversity describes itself as being a community seeking to create and use learning materials and activities. Wikibooks is also incredibly powerful already containing everything from a detailed guide to learning French to Organic Chemistry and Nanotechnology
